Our Story
Big Daddy’s Nuts is our love letter to real food, family farming, and feeling good about what you snack on.
We’re three sisters who grew up surrounded by orchards, fresh air, and a whole lot of pistachios. Our dad has been farming in California’s Central Valley for decades - and while most kids had lemonade stands, we were out in the orchards learning the value of hard work, clean ingredients, and where our food really comes from.
Years later, that upbringing collided with our passion for health and wellness. We spent years navigating food labels, decoding ingredient lists, and trying to find snacks that were both clean and crave-worthy. So we stopped searching, and started creating.
We didn’t invent the pistachio, nature did that part. But we’ve spent our lives learning how to grow it with care, harvest it at its peak, and bring it to you in a way that feels thoughtful and just a little cheeky. Big Daddy’s Nuts is built on the belief that nourishing your body should feel good, taste even better, and be serious about what’s in your food… without taking life too seriously.
Our pistachios are organically grown and harvested from 35-year-old trees in sunny Le Grand, California. Packed with protein, fiber, and all 9 essential amino acids, they’re a pantry staple that’s as wholesome as they are satisfying.
No seed oils, no additives, no gimmicks.
So, if you like your snacks bold, honest, and a little cheeky — welcome to the family.

This is what Big Daddy’s Nuts look like straight from the tree - growing in clusters, wrapped in a soft outer hull, and slowly ripening inside their shells until they’re ready for harvest.
Like most good things, pistachio trees take time. Nearly a decade to bear a real crop, and even longer for an orchard to truly come into its own. Big Daddy understood that from the start. He poured in patience, persistence, and let the land set the pace.
Every time you open a bag, remember: before the crack, before the bag, before the snack - this is where it all begins.
